Message	it might be picking up contaminants that should be removed with the clay. If the paint is fresh you might want to hold off. Depending on how bad your swirls are you might be able to get away with a mild cleaner like Klasse All in One. I would: Wash Clay Polish NXT NXT seems to work best if you apply two coats. It does have some fillers and cleaners. It should look great on the yellow.
